Amsterdam, the Venice of the North, is incredibly enchanting – even for real Amsterdammers who have lived there all their lives. When you sail through the canals with a boat, you always see something new. You will be amazed at the old buildings with striking facades, the very slanted buildings, the charming bridges and much more. Both tourists and Amsterdammers love to rent a boat for an outing – but did you know that there is also a more luxurious way to explore Amsterdam by water? You can, for instance, rent a canal boat at Blue Boat Company!

You read that right – you can rent one of our iconic blue boats for a private cruise on the Amsterdam canals. Our canal boat rental also comes with all kinds of catering, from a catered BBQ buffet to a cozy drinks cruise. You can also rent a canal boat as a transfer, to easily go from i.e. your hotel to one of the must-sees of Amsterdam. After all, it’s much more fun for a group to travel by boat than by bus on the normal road! We are happy to tell you more about all the possibilities!

Canal boat rental for transfers

If you are traveling in Amsterdam with a large group, you can visit all the sights by bicycle, public transport or with a rented bus. Do you want to avoid the chaotic narrow streets? How about traveling like a real Amsterdammer; by boat!

For example, if you are staying in a hotel next to a canal and you want to visit the Heineken Experience or the Anne Frank House, a transfer with a canal boat is ideal. Sailing through the canals with the wind in your hair is also much more fun than being locked up in a hot bus, which often also ends up in traffic jams on the narrow canal streets. Explore Amsterdam like the Amsterdammers: by boat! Rent your canal boat now.

Did you know that we have several tour boats from which we can remove or change the interior? That way, you can turn our boat into a dance floor where you can have a nice drink. You can also have the boat converted so that you can dine at a long table with friends and family while you sail through the canals and your captain takes you along all the highlights from the city.
